This is a straight forward action story. Dr. Martin Harris is on a trip in Berlin with his wife Elizabeth Harris. They are about to check into a hotel, but Dr. Harris forgets something and heads back in a taxi. The taxi meets an unfortunate accident and falls over a bridge, and some head trauma cause's Dr. Harris to lose his memory. He slowly begins to remember a few things, but no-one else around him can verify his identity. Okay, this is a unique story for action. It's also unique in that Liam Neeson, Dr. Martin Harris, doesn't start out as a bad ass character. His character builds up to being a full blown action star. Most of his character changes are very subtle, you have to watch to catch them. Diane Kruger, Gina, and does a great job with this role. She's not Dr. Harris' wife, but she was the taxi driver who saved Harris from drowning. January Jones performs the role of Mrs. Harris, and does a great job in this film. She's really beginning to become a household name. Director Jaume Collet-Serra has a talent for these action/horror thriller films. This film has a lot of plot twists, and plenty of action. It's probably not the type of action most audience's are used to, but it's still great to watch. It's not a family film, but it's not too bad. It doesn't have too much gore, and not a ton of sex in it.
I give this film a 10 out of 10 stars! It's a great action film to watch. The actors do a great job brining the characters to life, and making you feel for them.
