This film was directed by Josh Trank, and was written by Max Landis. This film was shot in handheld camera's, and handheld camera devices. This has become a norm for several horror films, after Paranormal Activity. This is the first dramatic film to be shown in such a style. I think this film would've done much better if it wasn't filmed this way, because any true dramatic heartfelt secondary story is neglected to be told appropriately. There was some things left unexplained in full detail. The story is very basic, but its stil good. Its main focus is that too much power is bad. The quick jump between camera's does become slightly strange, but its effective in making it feel less like a documentary until the end. The way this film is shot its just three teenage boys causing trouble who get super powers. It is science fiction and it is a superhero origins film. The effects are great, beginning very subtle and then going grander as the film progresses. The music was good keeping the songs popular in modern culture.

I give this film 4 out of 5 stars! This film is a good general film, but it lacks any deep story to it. The special effects were great for this film.
